What’s In My Bag? Jan 2018.

Hi everyone! Hope you are all fabulous!

I see these posts all the time, and it’s actually really interesting to see what us gals (and boys) carry around in our bags! I recently emptied mine out, as it was full crumbs, and wrappers! Oh and loads of receipts! Why do we hoard all this stuff in our bags? I have got to admit, just throwing stuff in my bag and forgetting about it, is something I do on a daily! Although finding the odd £1/2 or fiver in a random pocket is a joy!! I also found a completed McDonalds hot drink… thingy in there the other day! Oh the little things!

97A69623-41C5-4598-952C-48ED3B44E930I am currently using the Michael Kors ‘Selma Large Saffiano Leather Satchel’ £340, that I purchased whilst in New York, from the Michael Kors store in Soho! I really wanted a nice bag, and as soon as I walked into the store, they had this on display with the pompom (Fur Key Chain, £55) attached and I was sold!

Iv also been swapping it out with the The Mini Lock Backpack, £22, from Topshop. I use this more for when I go to work, and just need to chuck the essentials in my bag and go!

First up, I always have my iPhone 8 Plus on me! I could never leave the house without it! Even if I forget my debit card.. apple pay saves the day! I won’t go to into detail on the phone itself, thinking about doing a review on it! And it is always in my bag, because I am terrible with phones! I think I have dropped every phone I have! God knows how much has been spent on new screens! (Case is from Casetify, £35).

Next is my purse! This is a Ted Baker purse, that Michael got me for Christmas one year! This is totally battered, as it has been the only one I have used for a long time! Its really slim, but I can get loads of cards in this! I don’t really carry around cash much, but the coin pocket is nicely sized! Might treat myself to a new one, when I go to America in July!

I always have headphones on me! I use the Apple AirPods, and the headphones that came with my iPhone. AirPods are great if you are on the move, or at the gym! There is no wire getting in the way, and the wireless connection is amazing! I can go anywhere in my house, leaving my phone in my room and my music still plays! I always carry my wired ones, just in-case my AirPods run out!

A couple of other random bits and bobs include, My Keys (obvs, cant forget those, can’t drive my car, get into my office, or my house without them!), my sunglasses (I always go for Ray Bans! They suit my face the best), A Pen (Mine is Swarovski, a present from my mum!!) Tissues (a necessity), A Mirror, Antibacterial Hand Gel (I’m currently using the Strawberry and Rasberry from Superdrug! This one is my fave, smells INCREDIBLE!), Countless Lipsticks, they just seem to collect in handbags! I also have a Hairbrush and Hairband for those ‘I want my hair out of my face’ days, Chewing gum (I refuse to go anywhere without it!), and Tablets, for those aches and pains, when you’re out and about! And apart from the odd crumb or two, that is it!

I hope you all have as much random junk as me!

Lots of Love, Ellie x

P.S, enjoy this picture of my pup Bella trying to help me take photos!! Totally out of focus but her tongue poking out made me laugh!! Must get pics of my other pup Kallie!

What To Watch! Jan 2018.

Hi everyone! Hope you are all fabulous!

So, every month I do a ‘What to watch’! I’m a Netflix fan through and through, and me and Michael binge watch every series we watch! So I feel like I have a pretty good array of knowledge when it comes to TV!
Stranger Things PosterStranger Things, 2 Seasons. OMG you have to watch this. If you haven’t heard about Stranger Things, where have you been? This award winning series has been the talk of the internet, and I will 100% always join the hype! This series is set in 1980’s, based around a 12-year-old called Will. Will goes missing, and a huge investigation is launched by his mother Joyce to try and find him. As time goes on, they unravel the truth of his disappearance, with the help of Eleven, a very special little girl, and Wills best friends, Mike, Dustin, and Lucas. This is a 10/10 for me. Series 1 was released in July 2017, and series 2 on Halloween 2017. You will not be able to stop watching this, truly gripping.

The Crown, 2 Seasons. The Crown Poster This is one my Mum actually recommended to me. This is about the story of Queen Elizabeth II, as a 25-year-old, who has just come to the thrown. Whilst the scary concept of being a newlywed, and a new queen isn’t daunting enough, she is currently under pressure due to the decline of the British Empire. This whole series was confirmed by The Royal Family themselves, and it is so interesting, and really insightful into the life of the young Queen. Even if you aren’t into the Royal Family, the concept of this series is truly like none other. Very informative also, showing how being a Royal, might not be as easy as we all may think. Another 10/10 series for me. Beautifully delivered.

The Big Bang Theory, 11 Seasons. This series is clearly a known to everyone. I knew The Big Bang Theory Posterabout Big Bang, but I’d never actually watched it. Michael has been trying to get me into it for months, but I just wasn’t interested. When we was in our Hotel in London on NYE, it came on the TV. We ended up watching it until we left to go and watch the fireworks! So new years day, we started from the beginning on Netflix! Every night we watch at least 8 episodes, as they are only 20 minutes long! There are currently around 230 episodes at the moment, so I feel like we wont be worrying about a series for a while! This series is about 4 best friends, Leonard, Sheldon, Howard and Rajesh. They are self-professed nerds, and they have no luck with Women! Penny, moves across the hall from Sheldon and Leonards apartment, and that is when they start trying their luck. Totally funny and witty in every way. A brilliant American Sit-Com, and good for if you need a ‘pick me up’ TV show.

And that is it for January! Until next month!

Lots of love, Ellie x

(All pictures have been taken from Netflix, and CBS, in no way do I own the right to these photos, and will continue to make that clear)

My Makeup Favourites Of The Year! 2017.

Hi Everyone! Hope you are all doing great!

So, as promised, here is my favourites of 2017! These are my holy grail products, and throughout the year, I have reached for them the most! One of my favourite things is buying new make up, and it is the best feeling when you first use it, and instantly get that ‘I am going to love this’ feeling! And every single one of these gave me that! Iv have stand out products, and some I couldn’t whittle down to just 1!

So this is going to be super long! But, sometimes you can’t hold back when it comes to makeup! Why would you? I have only included 1 eyeshadow palette, due to the fact I done a totally dedicate blog post on my favourite palettes of the year, so go and check that out!

NYX Born To Glow Illuminating Primer in white, £7 – This gives the most beautiful glow to the skin! I feel as if this is a really good dupe for MAC’s strobe cream in Sliverlite. I use this on the areas of my face that aren’t oily, and my foundation always sits so nice on top! A really good drugstore primer!

Touch in Sol No Poreblem, £15 – I first heard about this product from Jeffree Star! And so many other people were raving about it! I have huge pores, so i’m willing to try anything to fill them in! This totally fills in and blurs all my skin beautifully! I feel like it also helps to keep my oils at bay during the day, and my makeup looks flawless! A little bit also goes a long way! I will continue to use this throughout 2018! And I also think the price is pretty good, considering how long it will last you!

MAC Studio Fix Fluid in NW13, £23.50 – This is been my favourite foundation for years, this was on the of the first MAC products I ever purchased, and have probably gone through countless bottles of this! This works with my oily skin amazing! The coverage is unreal, and other products layer so well on top! I will forever continue to re-purchase!

Huda Beauty #FauxFilter, in Angel Food 110N. £32 – Now, this hasn’t long been released, and instantly sold out on cult beauty! As soon as I could get my hands on it, I ordered it straight away! God this is high coverage, and it looks totally flawless on the skin! It also lasts really well, and helps to keep my skin matte! The only thing I don’t like about this, is the smell! Its a really strong perfume smell, and it tends to linger on the face for a while! But I just get past that, I love this so much. The colour range is also really nice, and I feel like this is the first foundation that has ever properly matched my skin!

Sadly, I am yet to find a drugstore foundation I love, but that is on my list of things to discover this year!

Tarte Shape Tape, in Light Neutral, £22. – Well, if this isn’t the most talked about concealer of the year, what is? Because this stuff is like Photoshop in a tube. The pigments and coverage in this concealer is a total game changer! The way it brightens your skin, and covers is like no other concealer I have ever put on my face! The smallest amount goes such a long way, and creasing? No way Sista!! This will stay put throughout the day, and l have even brought myself a couple of back ups so I will never run out! It looks incredible under the eyes, covers redness and spots, and also carves out your brows really well! LOVE!

Collection Lasting Perfection, in Fair 1, £4.19. – Again, one of the most talked about drugstores concealers ever! This was the first concealer I was ever introduced to, and since then, I have continued to buy it . The coverage is wicked, and once you set it, it will last all day! It isn’t as crease proof as shape tape, but if you’re on a budget this is the best alternative! You will not be disappointed!

Coty Airspun Loose Face Powder, in Translucent, £13.99 – This powder has been the only one I used through the whole of 2017. I brought numerous different ones, but this has been 1st place through and through. It mattifies the skin so nicely, and doesn’t look cakey in anyway! It bakes beautifully, and leaves your under-eyes looking so smooth and bright. I brought this Jan 2017, and I am still using the same pot I started with! You get so much product that will last you months and months and it is just such a good price as well! In the UK you can find this on Amazon.

Anastasia Beverly Hills Contour Kit, in Light to Medium, £42. –  This is more on the pricey side of makeup, as its ABH, but the colour of the contour on my pale skin is perfect. I purchased this back when I was in New York, and I haven’t stopped using it since! I am still yet to even hit pan on this, and for a while I used it every single day! Again, I’ve tried a lot of contouring products, but this is still a standout for me. This year I want to try more contour powders, and even creams, drugstore and high end! A firm fave in my collection.

MAC bronzing powder in Matte Bronze, £23. – I feel as if not many people talk about this a lot, I was wondering around the MAC store one day when I came across this, and the colour is just right for my skin tone. It blends effortlessly, and it isn’t so pigmented you have to dip your brush in once. Get a good swirl in there, and you are good to go! I haven’t really experimented with bronzer enough since finding this! Another discovery I want to make this year!

Milani Powder Blush in Romantic Rose 01, £12. – Again, another product I purchased in the states! (It’s only $9 in the USA, instead of £12 here!) and something I’ve used ever since I got home! It gives a lovely healthy glow to the skin, and looks really natural! The colour is beautiful and totally matte. The formula isn’t super creamy, but you can get a lot of product on your brush! When I go back to the US in July this year, I am definitely going to try more colours from this line!

Nars Blush in Deep Throat, £24. – Those oh so controversial Nars Blusher names hey! These blushes are gorgeous, and Deep Throat is my favourite colour this year! A beautiful pink, with a very slight shimmer through it, to give your skin a beautiful glow! It is super pigmented unlike the Milani one (which is totally different anyway) and one swipe in the pan, and off you go!

Becca Shimmering Skin Perfector Pressed in Moonstone, £32. – Highlighter is my favourite base make up (obvs!) and this is a wet, totally blinding highlight! The formula is so creamy, and it effortlessly blends into the skin to look almost natural! This is one of the only highlighters I have ever hit pan on! Incredible! And once it hits the light, BOOM! You will light up the room! This will also suit a lot of different skin tones!

Sleek Solstice Palette, £9.99. – A firm favourite within the beauty community this year! I really enjoy the colours in this palette, I mainly stick to the yellowy colour for my cheek bones and bronze colour the inner corner of my eye, as I don’t often use cream, or purples. Regardless this is blinding! Totally blinding! If you like a super wet look, shine so they can ‘see you from space’ highlighter, this is the one for you! It isn’t super creamy, it is a little more on the powdery side, but at such a good price, you couldn’t walk out of a shop without picking this up! Sleek have totally smashed this! Go Sleek!

Soap & Glory Archery 2-1 Pencil & Brush in Love Is Blonde, £8.50. – Iv tried numerous different pencils this year, I love the ABH Brow Wiz, but the price tag is ridiculous! I feel like its got more expensive throughout the year. The first one I ever brought was around £16. I decided to try and find a cheaper alternative, as I seem to go through brow products the quickest as I use them even on days I wear no makeup. I found this pencil, and I feel it gives the exact same effect! The colour is so cool toned with no orange tinge to it! It lasts on my brows without setting them all day, and it is such a good price! Also comes with spoolie on the other end!

Too Faced Shadow In Nudie (from the natural eyes shadow palette), £32. – Now, this was a totally out of the blue discovery for me. I brought this palette to use for my eyes! (obviously, it is an eyeshadow palette) I still do use it for its sole purpose, and is a great ‘no makeup, makeup day’ palette.. BUT the shade ‘Nudie’ is the most perfect brow colour for my blonde brows I have come across! With no warm tones, just a totally cool tone, light brown/taupe colour, it is the best! I use this every single day, I even travel with this, as not only can I use if for eyeshadow, I also have brows! I am desperately trying to find a extremely similar colour for an alternative to this, so once it has run out, I don’t have to re-purchase the whole palette for 1 eyeshadow!

Charlotte Tilbury Palette in The Vintage Vamp, £39. – I had to include just 1 eyeshadow palette! The reason this didn’t make my top 6 is because this is one of the newest palettes in my collection. The gold glitter is totally to DIE for! It is so glittery, and I use this on days when I want a more dramatic eye! I feel like its best over the top of shadows, rather than on a bare lid, as it pops more! The other colours are also gorgeous, and very luxury looking, with very luxury packaging!

Soap & Glory Super Cat Liquid Liner in Carbon Black Extreme, £6. – This.. is the best. Totally budge proof, so user friendly, and JET BLACK. I am rubbish at liner, and every one I try I ruin my makeup! This will never fail me, the formula is the perfect consistency, the felt tip is just flexible enough to get right into the corner, and create the perfect wing every time, and I get quite watery eyes, and this really doesn’t move! I do use a black Kiko shadow to set this (featured in my Kiko haul) just to properly set it into place, but it turns matte, but you have enough time to really work with this product on your eyes. Incredible.

L’Oreal Paradise Extatic in 01 Black, £11.99. – This is a newer discovery for me, my love for expensive mascaras needed to slow down, as this is another product that you can go through really quick. This makes my lashes look like false lashes. The length and volume this gives is unreal. Even on the shortest, flattest lashes, this will make such a difference. The formula isn’t to wet, nor to dry, so you can really layer this up with no time delay at all. Its totally jet black, and will make your lashes stand out. This has been super hyped up by Tati Westbrook, and she inspired me to buy this! I’m so glad I did!

Benefit Roller Lash in Black, £20.50 – This is ‘Roller Lash’ for a reason, Holy smokes it rollssssss your lashes to space! You can achieve incredible length and volume from this mascara, and is 100% my favourite out of all the Benefit mascaras. This doesn’t dry out, and it can last me a couple of months, so I’m not overly bothered about the price tag!

Tom Ford Lip Colour, from the Girls & Boys collection in the shade Ellie, £29. – This is more of a special lipstick to me! This was my first ever Tom Ford product, and when I saw the Boys&Girls collection, and I saw my name, I was so happy! Michael kindly brought me this for Christmas and I just love it. It is such a tiny lipstick, so I will sparingly use it, but I have used it a couple of times, and the mauve undertone really compliment my skin! Almost like it was made for me 😉

Burts Bees Lipstick, in the shade 501 Blush Basin, £9.99. – I got this in the ‘Latest In Beauty’s limited edition ‘Beauty and the Beast’ Box’ (FYI my most favourite film in the whole world) and the whole box was based around roses! This lipstick was in included, and at first I didn’t think much of it, but once I started using it more, I felt like this was the perfect ‘throw on’ lip, like a ‘your lips but better’ shade for me! And as Burts Bees are renowned for their lip balms, you can imagine how amazing this makes your lips feel. Always in the bottom of my handbag as well!

YSL Rouge Pur Couture in the shade 70 (Limited Edition holiday collection), £28. – Last year, I tried to get my hands on a YSL holiday lipstick, simply because the glittery packaging is stunning. I didn’t realise it had been released, walked into John Lewis, and right at the front.. there it was. This is collection is beautiful, and so is the lipstick! So luxe, and it is so creamy and glossy! Sadly, this is no longer available in many places, but I will continue to collect their holiday lipsticks every year. Another special one for me.

And that folks is it for 2017! Sorry for the long winded post, but I could resist babbling on about my favourite products! I cannot wait to discover new make up in 2018, and see what changes in my staple collection!

Lots of love, Ellie x

My Current Perfume Favourites! Jan 2018

Hi Everyone! I hope you are all well!

I just wanted to do a little post on my current favourite perfumes! Perfume is a super personal preference, but that is the beauty of it all! There are 1000’s of different scents to choose from, with brands bringing them out all the time! Which is great as it keeps it new, and interesting!

I find I sway more towards fresh and aquatic scents, rather than sweet or floral! I don’t like anything to ‘knock your socks off’, and I find fresher scents help me achieve what I’m looking for! Sometimes I come across the odd sweeter scent, but it always comes down to what tickles your fancy!

MAC Turquatic, from £14.

This has always been my most favourite scent ever! It can’t get more aquatic and airy than this scent! It features; Anemone, Lotus, Orris, and Corsican Blue Cedar. It lasts for hours, and only need to top up a couple of times if necessary! The packaging is a tropical paradise, totally gorgeous and unique! I very often get compliments when wearing this scent! And the biggest bottle (50ml) is only £35 which for a perfume is amazing! I wish they would bring out a bigger bottle, I go through this stuff like its water!

Moschino Fresh Couture, from £35.

So, the clue to why I love this is in the name really! Another super ‘Fresh’ scent! It features; Bergamot, Mandarin, Raspberry, Cedarwood and Ambrox. I can smell this for days on my clothes! (Coats, scarfs etc). The packaging is so cool! I just wish the spray actually came from the cleaner spray, instead of this just being the lid! I have 50ml and 30ml, and I carry the 30ml in my bag as my everyday perfume! Love!

Chanel Chance Eau Tendre, from £62.

Now this totally contradicts my ‘I love fresh’ scents. This is a fruity/floral scent! This features; Grapefruit-Quince accord, Jasmine and White Musk. This scent totally drew me in, it is so feminine and sexy, and this is my ‘night out’ perfume! It is super expensive, so I do use it sparingly, but you will only need a couple of sprays! This is really intense and will linger all day! The bottle is so sleek, and looks amazing on my dressing table! So many people will question what scent I am wearing when I use this! So unlike me, and that is why I love it so much!

Perfume is something I don’t tend to explore very often, but this year I want to explore new scents, and see if anything will be able to beat my MAC Turquatic!

Lots of love, Ellie x

A Kiko Black Friday Haul!

Hi Everyone! Hope you are all fab!

Black Friday hit us a couple of weeks ago, and whilst out Christmas shopping, a lip kit (in the shade strawberry rose) for my BBF Danielle (ddlovesx) caught my eye, from Kikos new Christmas collection! As I walk in, they had a huge deal on! So, buy 6, and get the cheapest 3 free! OF COURSE I jumped at the opportunity and with Mike walking behind, basket in hand, off I went! (and they currently have a up to 50% sale on at this moment!) Kiko is super affordable as well, you can get a lot for your money!

Kiko Haul! (Not including lip kit)

All together I spent around £50, which was amazing for the amount of product I got! Iv tried and tested everything, so here we go!

Eyelash Curlers, £4.90 I got to the till, and as my old ones were battered, I picked these up! Really good price, and they do the job! Not to much to say on these, but they give my lash a good curl, and they are lasting really well!

Face Make Up Fixer, £6.90 – Sadly, this was included in my blog post ‘un-favourites of 2017’, so check out that post for a more in depth review! But this just smells weird, and the mist is really drying!

Smart colour eyeshadow, in the shades (from left to right) 02, 32 and 31. £2.50 – The black shade (32) I use every time I wear liquid liner to set it! It is the perfect black, and there isn’t a lot of fall down for such a dark shade! And I feel like it will last me ages! And for the price, it is now a staple in my collection! The other 2 are okay! Nothing to write home about really!

High pigment wet and dry eyeshadow, in the shade 39. £5.90 – I really enjoy this shadow, has great pigmentation, it needs a little bit of work when blending, but I have found building the colour whilst blending is the best way! Still an incredible price, would 100% recommend!

Glow Fusion Power Highlighter in the shade, Brilliant Champagne, £9.90 – This is my favourite product from the whole haul! It is beautiful! It isn’t super blinding, which is what I usually sway toward, but its a gorgeous glow from within! If you build you can totally shine! The formula is super creamy, and the colour is almost a white with a shift of champagne! GORGEOUS! Totally beautiful! This looks great on bare skin as well, to give you that extra healthy glow!

Glow Fusion Highlighter in the shade – Brilliant Champagne

Smart lipsticks (shades listed below), £3.90 – I really like these lipsticks, my favourite shades are 908 & 904. Really nice formula to them, and the colour lasts a really long time on your lips! They aren’t matte, so you might have to top up throughout the day, but so worth it! My least favourite is 928, but this is only because I never wear baby pink lips! I’m way to pale for that, and I think I just picked up the wrong shade! (Silly me, always check before you buy!!) I’ve only used it to swatch, so I will give it away to a friend or family member who I know will use and love it!

Kiko Lipstick Swatches (shades left to right) 811, 908, 903, 928, 914.

Standout volume mascara, in the shade black, £9.90 – Another ‘un-favourite’ of the year unfortunately! Again, not to much detail as it is on my other blog post, but this mascara is just way to wet, and give me no curl or ‘stand out’ volume!

Unlimited foundation, in the shade Warm Beige 15, £14.90 – I like this foundation a lot! It has a lovely coverage, starts off medium, and its build-able! So you can get it to full! Also has SPF 15 in it. I don’t feel as if it has a matte finish, its more of a dewy/slightly satin finish! Products layer really nice on top of it, but due to my oily skin, it doesn’t last as well on my skin. It gets oily after about 4/5 hours of wear. Even with baking my under eyes and setting spray, my oils seep through quite bad, which is such a shame because I really like the formula! If you have normal/dry skin, this would be great for you! I also love the packaging, the frosty glass feels really luxury!

I love Kiko as a brand, and they have some amazing products! And they are so affordable, with really high quality makeup! So if you are on a budget, but want really good makeup, I would 100% recommend! There was a couple of duds for me personally, but there always will be! With so many different products, sometimes they don’t always work! I also love their stores. If you don’t want to shop for makeup online, go in store!

Lots of love, Ellie x

My 2018 New Years Resolutions.

Hi everyone!

I know everyone is doing these, but I just wanted to put into writing my 2018 New Years resolutions!! There isn’t going to be any ‘New year, new me’ because there is only so much I can change about myself! But there are some major lifestyle changes I’m looking to make, and I really want to take the opportunity to have it in writing, and be able to look back at this post at the end of the year, and see my progress, or how successful I have been!!

1. Go to the gym, and get fit!

I know this one is on everyones list! Last year me and michael went to the gym for months, and got really fit for our holiday to Cyprus! But that totally stopped when we got back, and as its been the Christmas season, we’ve obviously eaten lots of junk food, and had A LOT of lazy days! I love going, it really makes me feel good, and better about myself! And makes me feel super awake! Im also going to Florida this year with my family, on my 21st birthday (EEK) so, I need to get bikini body ready!! Also, I seem to be getting really achey and worn out when me and Michael go on days out! 2 weeks in Florida on my feet? I need to sort it out!

2. Eat better!

Again another one on everyones resolution list! Again, for months I ate really well, lots of healthy food, and felt so much more better on my inside! At the moment I feel so sluggish! Eating good food made my insides super happy, and there are so many different meals you can make that are delish, and are super healthy!! From Monday, only good food! Lots of blog posts on recipes and fitness! They really motivate me, so I hope I can do the same!

Another one on the lists.. BUT I really need to save. Me, Michael and my fam (mum, dad and 2 brothers) are moving into a brand new house next year!! So i’ll have a totally empty bedroom and en suite to fill! Im SO EXCITED to get DIY in my bedroom, and I will blog every step of the way! But also we would like to buy a house of our own in 5 years, we have some savings.. but moving house these days is super expensive! 😦 So we need some funds behind us!!

4. Work on my blog

THIS is a huge one for me! I already LOVE blogging! I have so many ideas in my head, I just want to sit and write all day! I have always loved writing, and I can’t get words onto paper (or a screen) quick enough!! I don’t think I’m going to have an upload day or time, just because I need to be able to write around work and my CII studies (Certificate In Insurance if you’re interested lol) i’m currently doing, BUT I will 100% do 3 a week, and more! Also I want to work hard on my social media platforms, and really keep everyone updated in what I’m doing! I have so much going on this year, I just want to share it with the world!! (@theejbedit, on twitter and insta, sorry cheeky self promo there).

5. Try more makeup from the drugstore

This one won’t be hard for me, I feel as if at the moment I sway towards high end make up (high end addict over here!) But I really want to experience make up on the high-street more, and do lots of different reviews for people who might not want to spend to much money on makeup! I’ve had a couple of people asking about the cheaper options in the drugstore, but I feel as if my knowledge isn’t as brushed up! Im super excited to do my first haul and see what beauty finds I get! Im hoping to find HOLY GRAIL products because why wouldn’t you want to spend less money, but on really amazing makeup!!

And finally…

6. See my Country!

Now, I am already going to Florida with my family (17 of us, can you believe it!!!) and me and Michael want to go and see the fireworks in Paris on NYE this year! But we LOVE days out, going to different cities and towns across England! Now I would say ‘the world’ but need to be a little realistic!! (Can’t complain with 2 holidays in place!) We also love taking our doggies to different parks, walks and towns aswell! They love going different places, we just say the word ‘Car? Walk?’ and 9.5/10 they are both sitting at the door waiting to go! I feel like before I venture out into the big scary world (moving out) I would like to focus on seeing new places! And 2018 will be a great year to start!

AND THAT IS IT! I didn’t want anything to deep and un-realistic! I wanted things that I could really stick to! Im hoping I can look back on this post, on the 1st Jan 2019 and be happy with my process, and would have stuck to my resolutions! BRING IT ON!

Lots of love, Ellie x

The Mayor Of London’s NYE Fireworks 2017.

Hi Everyone!! I hope you are all well!!

To welcome the year 2018, me and Michael travelled to London to watch the famous NYE fireworks at the London Eye!  For YEARS I have wanted to watch this, it has been a bucket list event for me, and I am so  chuffed I finally got to watch it!

Me and Michael

We was situated in the blue area, at Westminster, so we was right across from the London Eye! The view was incredible! I done a lot of research, and due to the positioning of the blue area, these best tickets to grab, and I couldn’t agree more!

It was a total nightmare to get through! Our starting point was Trafalgar Square, but due to the amount of people still waiting to get through the gates (that close at 10:30pm) we was diverted to Westminster! (At 9:45pm). We dashed to Westminster and was greeted with a Que about a mile long! We was so worried we wouldn’t make it through, but by a miracle we finally made it in at 11:45pm! 15 minutes to go and still had a brilliant view! The atmosphere was amazing once we got in! Everyone was buzzing!

The fireworks overall were a sight you will never experience unless you go to London, it was breathtakingly beautiful and the actual display is SO well put together!! I would 100% go again, but this event needs more organisational skill put into it! It was so badly organised, there wasn’t enough staff to check bags, and scan tickets that no one was getting through! Apart from that, you need to see this! You cannot explain how amazing it is until you see it for yourself! We got talking to a couple who travelled from Australia to see this event, and they expressed how much better and more of a spectacle this is, than the Famous Sydney Harbour fireworks!!! Unreal!

Iv inserted some pictures below of the event (all pictures are my own!) just to get some visualisation of the way they lit up the night sky! (These we’re taken on my phone, and there was a really tall Man in-front of me so you can just about see the top of his hat in some of them!!)

Happy new year! Ellie x
